Creating a PO from the Inventory Table
The fastest workflow starts directly from the Inventory table using a saved view.
Why This Method
You filter to only products that actually need reordering (e.g., Grade A + Running Low), then order exactly what matches your criteria. No risk of accidentally ordering items with healthy stock.
Steps
Step 1: Open a replenishment saved view
├─ Status: Running Low or Stock Gap
├─ Grade: A
└─ Optional: Filter by supplier or location
Step 2: Multi-select the products you want to reorder
Step 3: Click "Add to PO"
├─ Choose: Create new PO
└─ Or: Add to existing PO
Step 4: Fill in the PO form
├─ Quantities
├─ Unit costs
├─ Discounts
├─ Shipments
├─ Payments
└─ (Same as manual PO creation)
Real Example
Morning routine:
├─ Open "Grade A – running low – 30 days" view
├─ 15 products show up
├─ Select all 15
├─ Click "Add to PO"
├─ Creates new PO with those 15 products
├─ Add quantities based on supply plan recommendations
├─ Send to supplier
└─ Done in 10 minutes (vs. building PO from scratch)
This approach keeps you focused on high-priority reorders and prevents over-ordering.
